Since 2009, Lee Crafton, or Lee Horselogger as he prefers to be called, has been traveling across the country in a 3mph horse-drawn carriage, and now he's on his fifth trip. His journey started in 2006 when he lost his ranch in East Glacier, Montana after 27 years and dropped out of his Ph.D. program. Lee took his life savings of $75 and a couple of horses and decided to explore the nation. Needless to say, Lee is not your typical 63-year-old. But one year prior to his career change, Lee was diagnosed with Lymphoma at age 48 and had a tumor growing in his neck. Weary of chemotherapy, he opted for more naturopathic herbal treatments. Believe it or not, his tumor started to shrink and his cancer was gone.

A Missouri mother was sexually assaulted during a home invasion while her two daughters and their friend were upstairs. The suspect is being held in the county jail without bound. On Monday, Sarah Bommarito was at her house in Lee's Summit when a man followed her children into her home. The man, who has now been identified as 20-year-old Khalil Malik Cooper, refused to leave the property. Bommarito's motherly instincts took the forefront, and she fought back.

President Biden is said to be actively working to prevent a full-scale Israeli invasion of Rafah and offering Israel significant support, including top secret intelligence to help pinpoint the exact location location of Hamas leaders and tunnels. The U.S. is also offering help to create shelters and deliver essential supplies like food, water, and medicine for Palestinians evacuated from Rafah. The Queers for Palestine group created a human barricade to the entrance of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida , prompting a bystander to lose his cool. On Saturday, the Central Florida branch of Queers for Palestine pulled their cars in a blockade on Interstate 4, claiming that Disney supported genocide. An angry driver, presumably on his way to the theme park, became so irate that he got out of the car to yell at the demonstrators.

Five year-old Aurora Masters' family say the youngster has suffered fatal brain damage and that they are preparing to switch off her life support machine after the accident earlier this week. Aurora, from Fort Collins, moved her small plastic slide close to her swing while playing in the garden of her family's well-kept home. But when she went down the slide, she ended up getting her neck caught in the ropes of her swing. Her brain was starved of oxygen, with doctors at the Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora on Saturday breaking the terrible news that she will not survive.

Data from National Highway Transportation Safety Association revealed huge discrepancies in highway safety across the US. With 4,498 deaths in 2021, one southern state (right) was identified as the most perilous for motorists. By contrast, the safest state recorded 63 deaths, largely due to its rigorous road safety laws.

A woman who was left covered in bug bites is suing the City of Santa Fe, Texas after claiming local police handcuffed her shoved her face down in a bed of fire ants. The incident happened in 2021 when the plaintiff, Taylor Rogers, was arrested by the Santa Fe Police Department. Per the lawsuit, Rogers was driving with her son when an officer started yelling at her to stop. Court files said Rogers panicked because officers pounded on her vehicle and pointed their gun at her, and she went the wrong way accidentally.

Loretta Kay Carr, 44, and her daughter Jessie Kelly, 22, were both charged with murder in June 2023, nearly two years after Mary Elizabeth Isbell, 38, went missing. Authorities searched far and wide for Isbell's body, but were unable to find any trace of the missing Hartselle, Alabama mother until last year. It emerged that Carr shared a photo of herself by the murder spot in January 2019 at Little River Canyon national preserve.

Christopher Gilbert, 26, was pushed into a lake in Farmerville, Louisiana , on April 14, by co-worker, Cassidy Holland and left fighting for his life for 20 minutes while his 10 friends watched on. He has now said that doesn't think 'anyone did anything intentionally wrong' and that he was joking minutes before with Holland. Aaron Lawrence, the student's new attorney said that they don't plan to press any charges against Holland or the restaurant

After her mother's passing, a woman found a 19-word note on a 3x3 hot-pink Post-it that has gotten her through some of the darkest times during the past fourteen years. Blake Turck shared the heartwarming story of discovering her mother's final message - a simple yet profound Post-it note bearing the timeless motto: 'Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass … it's about learning how to dance in the rain.' Turck found her mother's note while rummaging through her things after she passed when Turck was 29 years old.   

Olivia Dunne was all decked out in custom Pittsburgh Pirates merchandise to cheer on her boyfriend Paul Skenes on his MLB debut.  The 2023 No. 1 MLB Draft pick, who is one of the most hyped pitching prospects in recent years, will make his first MLB start for the Pirates against the Chicago Cubs at PNC Park on Saturday and girlfriend Dunne will be giving her full support.  The LSU gymnast is expected to be in the stands in Saturday evening after arriving in Pittsburgh with the right-hander earlier this week after he got the call up.  And there will be no doubt who she is rooting for as the social media sensation shared photos of herself posing in a custom Pirates jacket.

Video footage captured the astonishing moment a woman came face-to-face with a mountain lion who was literally 'hanging out' in a tree in her backyard. Homeowner Corinna Bubenheim, of Woodland Hills in Los Angeles, first spotted the striking animal when her German Shepherds began running around her avocado tree in her yard on Thursday.   Expecting to come across the common squirrel or perhaps a possum, Bubenheim was shocked to find a pair of big furry paws.
